Definitely you can enjoy Venice!
It's located within 10 min walk from Piazzale Roma, even though you carry big suitcases. There are some small bridges before getting to the hotel. (this is quite common in Venice.)
The hotel staff are very nice. We were with seniors, so we had a request to stay in a room on the ground floor. They prepared for a room (this is the only one room on the ground floor, I think) for us.
Even though you have to go up the staircases to reach to the reception, other rooms and cafe, this kind coordination was good to us.
Every room has enough big spaces and I am sure you can feel comfortable.
Unique Quality: Very classic style.

Three day pass/ Palazzo Odoni
Hi! I´m going to spend three days in Venice in January. I´ve heard that there is some kind of a three day pass, with which you can get reduced entrances etc.
There is also some kind of pass for younger travellers (i think up to 29), has anybody made experiences with it? Costs, where do I get it, is it worth the effort??
Another question: I booked the Hotel Palazzo Odoni, anybody already made experiences with it?

Hi anna,
I am befana from VT and live in Venice. Yes, there is a three day pass for the 'vaporetti', that is, small boats (our bus system). It's only worth it if you plan on travelling alot by boat. Since most places in Venice are reachable by foot, you might be best to take a 24hr pass which gives you unlimited travel to Murano, Burano and Torcello (the islands outside of Venice.
There is a discount thing for young people but I believe the age limit is 26 (for entrances, etc.
good luck! If you are looking for a cheap place to eat, go to Bar in Campielo, near Piazzale Roma (campiello Mosca). It is in my neighborhood and the people who own it are like a family to me and serve home made and reasonable priced lunches!!!
You must see the church of dei frari (and have gelato at the place behind it!) and the scuola of s. Rocco with its beautiful decorations by Tiepolo.
