Great Venice Hotel
This hotel offered us a quiet and peaceful room with a canal view (2 windows, one for each of us to peer out of) 3 floors up in a very typical Venetian setting. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom had a good sized shower (with a "western" door, not a folding one that becomes a shower after it has been the sink and floor area) sink and toilet. Our bed was comfortable.
The breakfast and sitting room had windows right at canal level so watching boats float by and navigate the walls was great entertainment.
Unique Quality: Great price for a canal view room and super quiet. The church bells and some motor boats along with singing gondoliers (it was a popular route) were all that we heard.
