Venice, Pisa, Florence, Assisi & Rome
"Venice"
We loved Venice, unless you are a laid back person 2-3 days is plenty. We toured the Basilica, San Marco's Palace, Just walking around Venice is a tour in itself.
I recomend taking a street map, then putting it in your bag, just walk for a hour or two until you are lost, then find your way back. You will see so many cool things and get to experience real venice outside of the tourist traps.
"Florence"
If you are an Art lover Florence will be heaven. I loved all of Florence we were there for 3 days and to be honest I would have loved to of been there the whole time.
Things to see & Do:
Academy of Arts (Statue of David), Duamo (My favorite), eat lots of Gelato... stroll the midevil streets and take this beautiful city in!
"Rome"
If you stay in Rome be sure to stay on the Ancient Side of Rome.. We made the mistake of booking a room near the Vatican, and outside of the Vatican walls you are in a bad area of town. We quickly moved our room and won't make the mistake again!
Things to see:
Ancient Rome, Forum, Vatican City, Trajans Column, Colosseum... eat Pizza in Rome it was the best I had in all of Italy.
