Enjoyed the opportunity to stay away from the buzz of St Marks Square but only be a brisk 20 min walk or 10 minute ride by waterbus away.
Situated in a predominantly residential area so dont expect a vibrant nightlife nearby but a chance to relax and experience some genuine local culture.
Public park nearby is a rare area of green open space in Venice used and appreciated by locals and visitors alike. An ideal place to chill between trips to the sights.
Hotel is a converted convent , rooms modern, spotless and comfortable.Staff helpful but not intrusive.
Buffet breakfast which can be taken in private gardens excellent. No retaurant in house, but several excellent good value places to eat within 10 mins walk
