Venice pizza
by bryINpoland
I love pizza. No i mean i really love pizza. I can eat it all day everyday and i am happy. I love pizza from everywhere. It doesnt matter if its from Pizza hut, Dominos, New York or Chicago, i love it all.
Now Italy ofcourse has great pizza. I love going to Italy for their food alone , but my love for pizza would come to a test in Venice. Now dont get me wrong, u can find some good pizza in Venice. But majority of the places that sell pizza in Venice, sell some of the worse pizza i have ever had. To me there use to be no such thing as bad pizza.
Now i guess its because they love to put sea food on their pizza. Sea food and pizza do not mix with me. its a big NO!
So when its comes to Venice. I still eat the pizza, but you should be careful what you order...

Took the catamaran (Prince Of Venice) from Porec in Croatia at about 8.30 am....& arriving in Venice about 10 am...
Took lots of photos when I saw Venice....here's one of them...
I remember everybody on the catamaran was so excited when we were approaching Venice, all with their camcorder, tripod (on a moving catamaran !) & me, with my cheapo camera...

Do not touch the fruit or vegetables!!
by johnandlynclarke
There are fruit and vegetable boats in some of the canals plus there is a big outdoor market. When you want to buy something, point at the item, but do not touch!! We saw one woman starting to rummage through the fruit and the vendor nearly fainted. The vendor refused to sell to the woman.
Campo Castello
by croisbeauty
Campo Castello is probably the most easy going part of Venice, it is a kind of off the beaten path area not much visited by the crowd. In fact, the atmosphere here is very relaxing and pretty much quiet.
It was Saturday afternoon, June 25, when our small group of VTers (Barbaraforza, Poaseo, Effetti, Kenadams an me) have spend couple of hours here having a great time. We were in particularly attracted seeing a lot of laundry, which makes the whole aspect of Campo Castello very pitoresque.
