Giulietta e Romeo Hotel Verona

The Giulietta e Romeo Hotel was a great place to stay in Verona. We thought we might have a problem when they sent word that the room we had booked would not be available, but they would have something equally nice for us. We arrived feeling apprehensive and were more than happy when they explained our new room. They put us up in a residence that was affiliated with the hotel and just three buildings away. They definitely lived up to their end of the bargain!

The room or apartment that they put us in was huge. We had a full living room with a kitchenette at one end, a large bathroom and an equally large bedroom with plenty of storage. The place was spotlessly clean and very nice.

Breakfast was included at the hotel as were all the other hotel amenities. The staff that we dealt with were all very friendly and helpful, offering up some tips and then directions to go along with the tips.

As for location, the hotel is located very close to the arena. If you are attending an event there, you are truly just two minutes away. While some folks might not like this, we enjoyed throwing open the windows in the evening and listening to the concert that was going on the weekend that we were in town.

All in all it was a great hotel experience and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Directions: Facing the arena, walk to the left and it is on the first street about halfway down the block.

Small hotel hall and stairways a little tied but the bedrooms are wonderfully appointed.
A good breakfast but no other restaurant facilities, however there are a host of very good places to eat within a short walking distance. The staff are certaily an asset to this hotel, they were extremely helpful and if your Italian is a little rusty they all speak good English

The three stars hotel Giulietta e Romeo is situated in the historic centre of Verona, just a few steps from Arena and in a walking distance to all major sights of the town.

Unique Quality: The hotel offers a simple elegance and quiet atmosphere, because it is located in the non traffic area of the town.
The prices are:
- single room from 80-110 euros
- double room from 120-180 euros
It is a very recommendable accomodation for the fellow VTers because here you have 24 hours internet connection, available in the hall of the hotel.

This 3 star hotel is a gem - just 1 minute walk from the arena yet in a quiet side street.
Perfect if you want to get to the opera easily!
The 30 comfortable rooms have air conditioning (essential in summer), satellite TV, mini-bars and good sized modern bathrooms - ours had a great view across the roofs of Verona too!

This 3 star hotel was on a par with the 4 star hotel we had in Rome and better than the 3 star one in Venice.

We got a good late deal package here but I noticed the room rate with breakfast was 115 -170 euros per night for a double/twin room. Check their website for up to date rates and info.

Unique Quality: The staff were really friendly and helpful, providing maps and local transport timetables if needed. Breakfast was buffet style and plenty of it too - I even had apple pie one morning!
