Romeo and Juliet house located in Verona. Even the research come out with bad results, ppls still come and visit this house, only for a symbolic about love...human cant live without love. Love to God forever, love to parents bring a bless to your life, love to each human bring a peace to the world.
At this house, there are one statue of Juliet. With your partner, touch a right breast of Juliet and make a wish..but come on! dont wish to get a new gf!Then, write a note for Juliet and put it to the wall (entrance). Actually its not allowed by rules, but they cant stop you to do it. I spent few times to read some note, and its quite fun...
Verona's History
by effeti
Verona history begun before the romans, that's sure, but it's not exactly clear where its original inhabitants came from.
Then it was roman, barbaric (longobard and more) and then a free "comune" under the La Scala family, also referred as The Scaligeri.
Then Venice, then France, then Austria....
Oh my God, this may became a very long tip...
Read the wikipedia page instead... Not as rich as the italian Wiki version, but not so bad:

Desenzano
I toured around the whole Lake and stopped at few places.
Desenzano is considered the capital of Lake Garda. It has an open-air market held every Tuesday that exists since the 15th century.
An interesting place to visit here is the Roman Villa, discovered in 1921. It is considered the most important example in Northern Italy of the grand villas from the Late Roman era.
There is a marvellous mosaic floor with
scenes of hunting, fishing and farming. It's open every day except Monday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Piazza Delle Erbe - looking...

Piazza Delle Erbe - looking past the Colonna di San Marco, the symbol of Venice, towards the Torre Lamberti. This square is the general market area of Verona, but I must say I wasn't so impressed with what was on sale as I had been in other cities in this area. Down the middle of the 'square' - it's really rather elongated - are a series of other monuments, including a fountain which dates from Roman times.
Verona, the very safe place
by montezaro
According to the statistics, Verona is one of the safest place in whole Italy. The locals are very friendly and helpful to the visitors. You can stroll around, even late in the night, and feel perfectly safe here. Of course, there are zones which are not recommendable for the late night strolling, but this are far away from the city centre and touristy area.
