Nice yard, but stuffy rooms

Villa Francescatti is pretty much just another Italian hostel. It's 12 Euros per night, breakfast and linens included. Breakfast is a little less restricted than at other hostels, but for some reason you have to drink your coffee out of a bowl.

There is an 11pm curfew, but if you go to the opera, you don't get locked out; you just have to ring the bell and when someone comes to the gate you show them your opera ticket and they let you in. I think the two biggest drawbacks to the place is the 9-5 lockout and there are no shower stalls-just one big communal shower.

Unique Quality: This hostel is in a very cute little neighborhood with tiny winding coble stone streets. The hostel is surrounded by very nice gardens complete with friendly cats and palm trees.

It also has Internet connections, which you can use with an Italian Phone Card. The phone cards are available at the font desk.

Really beautiful Youth hostel

The building with the big garden next to it is impressing, doesn´t seem to be like youth hostel. You find really time to relax here. Normally backpackers don´t find their relaxing places in the hostels, but here you´ve got one place that´s worth to stay one night more (ok, the whole city makes it worth to stay one night more!)

Unique Quality: This Youth hostel is located in an old very big villa. It´s got a big garden with a lot of places to relax alone, possibilities to play table tenis, you can cook on yourself here, as well eat in the restaurant, you can wash your clothes.....got almost everything.
The rooms are seperated for girls and boys, there are as well family rooms.
There´s also a parking possibility inside the terrain (with a big wall)

Villa Fransescati

€15/night/person

Unique Quality: This popular hostel is situated in a 15th century villa with a beautiful garden. It has a great atmosphere and offers cheap dinner. For those who want to spend the night drinking and dancing, you'll have to go somewhere else since it has a curfew at midnight and lockout 9am.
