Camping Roma: Relaxed camping!
When you're looking for a great campsite in Ventimiglia, Camping Roma is the place to be!
Easy to reach, close to everything and still quiet.
The lady at the reception speaks lots of different languanges (French, German, English and Italian of course) and can help you with everything you need.
The campsite has place for tents, mobile homes, caravans or you can stay in one of the nice bungalows. There is a restaurant, a bar, a pizzeria, a gamesroom and a large and shady place to relax and enjoy the Italian atmosphere.
We stayed in a 4-person bungalow. The bungalow was very clean and had everything you need (kitchen with sink, stove, plates,... , bathroom, nice terrace with chairs and a table and even central heating).
We will return there!
Unique Quality: Nice staff, very close to the beautiful old town of Ventimiglia.
Close to the beach and the new town with shops, restaurants,...
Easy to reach by car or by foot from the railwaystation.

Calandri B&B: A secret place with a magnificent view...
Calandri B&B will absolutely not deceive you... but it is a place that is deserved, for you will have to brave the mountains tortuous and snaky roads, honking at every curb to alert the opposite driver you are near, in order to get to its door. Living in this beautiful house her husband and her built in the 70's, Angela is the the sweetest hostess one could ask for. She lives with her two dogs, she keeps outside and her cat Lili on a beautiful plot planted with fruit trees such as lemon, cherry and apple. She offers 3 rooms, one of which has a private bathroom, but needless to say, the other ones have 2 shared immense bathrooms, one with a shower, the other with a bathtub. You will have access to the living room and the kitchen if you need to cook your own meal although a hearty breakfast is served in the morning, in a glass enclosed dinning area from which you will not believe the incredible view. We loved our stay... and would go back anytime!
Unique Quality: A long balcony stretching along the house will permit you to gaze at a memorable views, if you were to decide to have diner outside... grab a pizza and a bottle of wine in town and come back to enjoy your meal on the balcony, I promise it is heaven... But should you decide to have diner with other guests or friends, the barbecue terrasse in the house's shade might be a better bet on hot summer evenings. You also have access to a neatly kept pool.

Hotel Villa Franca: Cheap hotel in Ventimiglia
A fuss-free stay in the heart of Ventimiglia. We had a 44 euro double room with external bathroom (although there was a sink in the room). Our double room had a double bed and a single bed! Breakfast was included (2 rolls and a hot drink). The staff are very friendly and I have no complaints. The market in the morning was quite noisy outside our window but we wanted to be up anyway!
