Jaunsetas: So much activities available!

First that I need to mention thinking of this place is location - next to Aluksne lake (which is very beautifull). In Jaunsetas I have enjoyed a lot of water sport activities in summer time - most fascinating are wakeboard, water skiing and swim bladder, also volleyball, basketball, paintball etc. Also great is excursion in the lake with high-powered motorboat and the staff will tell You very interesting stories about different places in the lake.
In the evening with family or friends can relax at sauna and have a great ( and really delicious)dinner in "Katrinkrogs"(the pub). In summer time it is great to sit in the pub, because they have terrace outside with fascinating view to the lake!
Also the rooms in the hotel is cosy and nice and staff is friendly and helpfull.
Oh, and in winter time - when is a lot of snow - it is great to rent a sauna house - with family or friends - and to enjoy sauna and hot tub - which is great experience - imagine outside there is about -7 or -10 degrees (in celsius), but You are sitting and relaxing in hot tub and viewing clear sky with a lot of stars!!!

Great water acitivities and location.

Hotel "Jolanta": Like an oases...

I and my friends were in hotel "Jolanta" on Christmas holiday. We rented a sauna and pool area. When we arrived to the hotel the staff was very helpfull and nice. The sauna and pool area was very cosy and we felt like we are in some oases...
Also there is a cafe with tasty dish.
Rooms are cosy and there can relax in peace and quiet.

Sauna/pool area fantastic!

"Murnieki": Country House

It's really a nice place - clean and comfortable
in a carefully refurbished house from the early twenties.
The friendly service and a good breakfast made it a very good stay for the money

Bicycles, boats, cars on rent. Fishing. Skiing, skating. Places for tents and open-air area for different events. Catering.
