A hotel in the resort town Jūrmala, 100m from the sea. Well appointed 11 rooms, a restaurant and summer garden on a terrace. Several SPA centres in the vicinity and the "Līvu" Aqua Park.
Very good position - in the center of Majori, between Jonas (jnly fo pedestrians) and Juras. Hotel has own parking (small!). Speaking English and Russian personal.
The Baltic Beach Hotel is probably the best place to stay in Jurmala. Located right next to the beautiful beach, the hotel offers its guests a great location to relax. If you get fed up of relaxing next to the Baltic, you could always move inside to the hotel's spa.
My parents stayed here in June 2006 while visiting me in Jurmala. The service was good, breakfast buffet very adequate and the staff always ready to help. There is ogff-road parking and the hotel has a great location between the beach and the town centre within easy walking distance of good facilities such as restaurants, the Dzintari Concert Hall and many restaurants.
The cost was mid-range - not exceptionally cheap but not extortionate either.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a classy hotel in a great relaxing holiday spot. website

The Nemo camping is situated at the end (if you come from Riga) of Jurmala.
It has an restaurant, a bar and also small camping cabins for hire.
Also if you pay extra there are some waterattractions you can use.
Just beside the camping is the beach wich seems to have no end....or beginning.....very nice!
The camping ground itself is very good...but what was not good was the hygienic facilites.
The showers, and the toilets what not fresh at all.........:-((, wich is a pitty, because if they would fix them up Nemo is a very good place to camp at.
The Hotel is situated in the very centre of the pearl of the Baltic Sea - the Seaside City Jurmala, next to the pedestrian street, Jomas Street, 20 m from the Concert Hall "Dzintari" and only 50 metres from a sand beach of the Gulf of Riga.
Q: Interest in what to do in Jurmala "My wife and myself will be in the Jurmala area. We are staying for 2 weeks at Sanare Jaunkemeri starting October 4th. What would..."
A: "October. If you are lucky with the weather you will see the golden leaves. Just get to Riga and walk in the Old City and the parks nearby. Jurmala itself will be pretty..."
