Room-we had two different rooms, both were quite spacious and clean, had 2 twin beds that were a bit on the hard side, in room safe (5 lv deposit, .5 lv per day charge), small refrigerator, tv, bottled water
Bathroom-bathroom good size, small shower stall, thin towels, no toiletries except soap, hair dryer (one room had, one didn't)
Buffet breakfast was included in rate-juice, eggs, meats, bread, cereal, pastries. The breakfast room was often full, at least twice we had to invite ourselves to sit at people's tables. Breakfast ran until 11:00 which was nice on our first day when we didn't get up until 10:00.
Staff was pleasant, on check in the man behind the desk spent a bunch of time writing things, turns out they give you a voucher for each person for each morning's breakfast. Gotta have those receipts!!!
Hotel will arrange for taxi to/from the airport for an 8 lv fee, it was worth it not to have to hassle with public transportation.
Funny story, one night when we were coming in for the evening, another couple came in, the woman looked like she might be a prostitute so the staff on duty asked for her passport and started making a fuss, the man started going on about whether this was communist Russia, etc, etc. We go to our room chuckling, my husband says oh, that's all for show, you watch after we are gone, he'll let them go up. Next morning, who do we see in the breakfast room? The lovely lady of the evening!
Oh, and the elevators are REALLY slow, it was usually quicker to take the stairs.

Single room with shared shower and toilet. Check in was easy. Receptionist pleasant and good English. The room was clean and warm (-5°C outside), as were the shower and toilet. Nothing special - not as down to earth as Aurora, but certainly also no place to take your bride to a romantic weekend to ;-)
Saulite is very centrally located, but can be quite loud.
Viktorija is... well, also not the most quiet place usually, and is some 15 foot minutes away from the central railway station.
In Viktorija, make sure that they give you a room in the not yet renovated part of the building - the rooms are basically the same, but clearly cheaper and with some comforts less, one of them being the paint on the walls, which won't bother you much once you closed your eyes. With the money you save, you can buy some toilet paper and disinfectant and give the place a little bit of help. Rooms are musty but cared-for, with local TV but no phone. "
And they're right again. Even if I'm not that picky and I've stayed in the most run down places, this still was too much for me. But then again, it's also one of the cheapest ones I've stayed at... But "not super clean"... That's one way to put it...

We were lucky to have the entire floor for a few days. Before they got more guests. Perfect for larger parties (10-15 pers) when you can have the entire place for yourself. A huge living room (with a piano) and free Internet access. And ofcourse, breakfast included. The rooms are equipped with satellite tv and water boilers. Renovated quite recently to perfection.
