Now this hotel outweighed expectations, it is in fact a Four Star property and is well situated.
Rooms are clean, clean, clean a major priority for this lady. Breakfast has a wide choice of food, ranging from fish, to salad, cereal, yoghurt, eggs, bacon, bread, cakes and the list goes on..and on.
We ate a small meal in the restaurant, which we throughly enjoyed, service generally we found slow in Riga but nothing to complain too much about. A smile and helpful service was served up here.
The bar on first night we found empty but we made our own entertainment, the second evening we left at about 9pm due to the smokey atmosphere.
There is a sauna but we did not use it.
It is just a 10/15 minute walk to the old town from here through the parks.
