Nice hotel in Quiet Port 10 mins from old town
Was pleasent and friendly, was a bit no frills with 70's decor but did the job and was nice and warm after treking about all day.
Staff were friendly and made conversation when prompted.

Very poor hotel
I stayed there in August 2005. I had been there previously in 1995 and nothing much has changed. The rooms are dirty, I got a very bad case of bedbugs, the receptionists don't speak english and it's a long way from the centre. (10 euros by taxi).
I would recommend the Hotel Latvia - it is an excellent *** hotel.
