hi everybody, i am georgian student, we are 12 students coming to klaipeda for a month in may 4, so we need to rent 2 or 3 appartments in the center of klaipeda, i have asked for help to a lot of agencies by the internet but nobody answered, so if somebody can somehow help us please answer

You can try this one http://www.amberland.lt, but don't mention mention them that you are students:) They can possibly consider that you might be quite loud (parties and so on...) and they would risk to get complains from people living near those apartments;)

Klaipeda and its surroundings are an ideal place for sailing, swimming and fishing. The nature is beautiful and one can see cranes flying. The birds nest on the trees (sometimes on chimneys) are amusingly well-built. Nature, sea, calmness, folklore, people
Klaipeda has a very convenient geographical position in the Baltic Sea Region. The seaport - city is situated by the Baltic sea and Curonian Lagoon, close to the biggest seaports of the Baltic - Kaliningrad (Russia), Riga (Latvia). Klaipeda is a large transportation junction that unites sea, land and railway infrastructure. Klaipeda is 200 km away from the international highway VIA BALTICA. The Passenger Air Terminal has been established in Palanga and is in the distance of 28 km away from Klaipeda. Klaipeda seaport gates create an opportunity for the city to communicate directly with the other European and worldwide seaports and thus extend the connections to Lithuania.
The area of the city is 98,35 km². It stretches 15 km along the Curonian Lagoon and is only 2-3 km wide. Klaipeda is situated on 55°43' North latitude and 21°07'East longitude. As whole Lithuania, Klaipeda is attributed to the mediocre climatic zone.
If you respect the place ( restaurant, privat houses, etc) and if you respect the owners of the house, you should take of your cap. The really low culture people stay with cap even sitting by table ! It means, you don't respect the place and food and anythig... Really not nice...
Ladies can stay in hats, if they wear one, but for man no one kind of cap is good (except religious things).

Most visitors go directly to the beaches of Palanga or the dunes of the Couronian spit but the city has a few hidden gems as for example the main Post Office built about 100 years .ago and still excellently preserved.
