Friendly Hotel In Klaipeda
This is our second year in Klaipeda and the second time we have stayed at the Lugne. We had a smallish room the first year (as we booked at the very last minute) but this year we booked in advance and our room was spacious and extremely comfy. The staff are always very helpful and informative about Klaipeda and its attractions. The Lugne has an excellent, very affordable restaurant downstairs and also its own bar. Its location is excellent, within walking distance of the Old Town and also the shopping precinct. Highly recommended to anyone! Just a warning that the road outside is currently being upgraded (i.e., dug up in places) but we had a room at the back and were also out for most of the day anyway, so didn't have any noise problems from the roadworks.
