Friendly staff in comfortable hotel
The Novotel was an excellent choice. Although part of the huge Accord chain, the staff made it feel like a local hotel. They were knowledgable about Vilnius and we even talked about Heart of Midlothian Football Club, the Edinburgh team owned by a Lithuanian Bank Chairman! The breakfast was one of the best we've had in a large chain hotel. It was also close to the Cathedral and the castle on Gediminos Hill and in a good position for the Old Town, being on its northern edge.
