The room I had was spacious; it had a entrance "room" with a space to put your luggage + a cabinet for your outer clothes, a spacious bathroom with toilet, shower and a bathtub, a small sitting area, a writing desk and finally the bed. Colours were nicely pastel coloured; furniture wooden.
The breakfast was good. First I thought that there's only bread and jelly - until I noticed they want the food to be fresh and brought it to the table only when the guest arrived. So it contained coffee/tea, orange juice, bread, butter, jelly, cheese, sausage and ham with the bread, cornflakes, youghurt.
It was also nice that this small hotel had its own restaurant and bar - if you are some evening tired and don't want to go out for the beer, you can just walk down. Still, you can eat Belgian mussels the right Belgian way if you want to.
The staff! Always ready and helpful with whatever questions you might have - a map, where is what (bus station, shopping streets, something happening, nightclub, bar, café etc...).
They are willing to help also by finding out bus schedules and other travel related stuff.
