So, has anyone found a vegetarian restaurant in Luxembourg? I plan on visiting after next week and voila, excitement galore in the form of castles. Luxembourg castles are sure to amaze me. Oops, tangent.

There's the Mesa verde, near the Plateau de St Esprit. Real good, a bit expensive though.
Otherwise look at www.restaurant.lu where you can query restaurants depending on the food you're looking for.

40% of all Luxembourg citizens are foreigners. That gives that financial metropol a very international flair. Because lots of people work in banks, people wear business clothes even in the streets.
So have a seat in a café in downtown Luxembourg and let the people pass by. So you save the money for a designer show in Paris...
If you are going to the city center don't miss the Town Hall but be careful. Many toursit ask for a room there because they think it is Hotel. ;) However there is just a little difference between French word Hotel and Hotel with accent surcomplex.
Every year Luxembourg swings into the Christmas mood with a traditional Christmas Market, where the spirit of Christmas is celebrated with many stall beneath a massive Christmas Tree. The market starts on December 1st and ends on Christmas Eve. The markets is held at Place d'Armes and the local inhabitants call it the "Chreschtmaart".
The website below offers excellent information on Luxembourg. Ranging from politics, economics, culture, society, traditions...the website was set up for the Luxembourg chairing of the European Union, first half of 2005.
The city hostel (at the far right on the photo) overlooks the garden that belongs to the hospice opposite it. I don't know if you can visit it, I never saw anyone walking in it. But if you sit on the terrace of the hostel restaurant, it's very enjoyable to see.
