I have stayed at Hotel Le Royal in Luxembourg centre many times and have never been disappointed. The staff pride themselves on giving a high level of service, and look for ways to do more. The rooms are clean and elegant, as befits a 5 star hotel. Turn down service is available, with chocolate left on the pillow.
Over-all excellent hotel with fantastic service. Beautiful rooms and good location. There is an large park with an amazing playground next door for kids. This hotel deserves its place in the Leading Hotels of the World.
On their web site, they boast about their concierges, with good reason. We were about to rent a car one-way to Cologne and we needed to buy a car-seat for our girl. When we asked the concierge where we could find a store that sold one, he went into a back room, returned with a car seat, and gave it to us! He said it had been laying there a while and it was no problem that we were going one-way and would not be able to return it. At the end of the trip, we gave it to the concierge at the hotel in Cologne.
