Located in a busy district ...
Hotel is located on a very busy district, next to the station ... Luxury Hotel but kindda oldfashioned ... Rooms r big and comfortable, just standart bathrooms ... City Center and Museums ca. 15 - 20 mins walking distance ...
Has a great and huge restaurant, classic furnished, food is well, but breakfast needs some improvement, safe boxes provided at the reception ....
Still recommendable Hotel ....

Nice hotel accross from the train station
This is a pretty nice hotel at a very convenient place in Luxembourg. It is directly accross the main trainstation. It is also only a five minute walk from the old city. The hotel has pretty much all the amenities that a large chain hotel would have. The room size was pretty large and it was pretty quiet. For a hotel of this quality in Luxembourg, the price was reasonable. Unfortunately, I was too busy enjoying the city to spend much time in the hotel.

Lunch at the Mercure Alfa
The restaurant looks like a French brasserie but quite grand (high ceilings). Great lunch. Simple but very very good. As this was a group lunch I unfortunately have no idea of what it cost.
Unique Quality: Smoked salmon for starter, a juicy, tender schnitzel with mushroom sauce as a main course and Luxembourg pear tart for dessert.
