Neolithic Temple

There are many Neolithic remains on Malta and the Qawra Temple is one of them but there are no signs for it as you are walking around.
It is in the grounds of the Dolman Hotel (near the bus station) and is worth a visit if you are into the Historical side of Malta. You can get to it through the main entrance of the Hotel and going through to the pool and garden area, Many of the items found on the site are in the Archaeological museum in Valletta.

Drinking night out

Bugibba offers many pubs serving a wide range of drinks. Although the imported drinks are expensive, a good beer is often sold for less than Lm 1 (EUR 2.5-).

A good option is also Malta's own lager, Cisk. After all you are in Malta and international drinks can be found everywhere.

Wine is also low priced and high quality.

Great Location

The first day we stoped for a burger in the afternoon which was good and a few beers.
We tried this restaurant twice in the evening the food was ok. One night we had the fixed price menu good value I had the steak which was different to what I was expecting the other night the mixed grill.

We tried the breakfast one morning and the eggs were raw and covered in black bits from the grille and beans were not very good a well I asked for the eggs to be cooked a bit more.

It was a pity realy they let them selfs down but they do some great burgers, we did not eat there anymore. Burgers

Qawra Coastal Entrenchment Wall

The Old coastel Entrenchment wall consists of flat faced artiillery platforms which were linked together by curtain walls, This was a vital part of the defences built by the Knights and was supposed to stretch all around the island but only the Qwara section was ever Finished

Lot more crime in Malta than reported, I am a tourist that got robbed and beat up by a few guys. Worst roads and rain collection system in EU, police dont report crime a few people have been robbing the gaming places, its really gone downhill that last few years STAY AWAY or bring 9 22 or 38 euros only.
