This was a truly wonderful hotel, one of the best we had ever stayed in. The room was fabulous, almost a junior suite in fact; breakfast superb, relaxed and something to idle over; and the views, both of the harbour and to the rear, were stupendous. The multi-level pools completed the picture.
Unfortunately, since before 2007, this is no longer a hotel. It's closed; a sad, empty relic awaiting conversion to something else. A great pity, but then there's always The Grand (next tip). Theme: HotelDirections: On the cliff top above Mgarr harbour.
