» More Malta Destinations | Malta Reviews | Tips 21 - 30 of 185 | | One of the better hotels on Malta definately. I liked staying there, even if I had a room to the very loud main street of Mellieha. Fortunately the windows has been really good isolated. Well, who could know, that there is one Ferrari on Malta, that is only driven at 4 am in the morning on this street.....well not every day luckily! :) I also liked to stay in Mellieha, even if it's quite far in the north, so not perfect for touring the island. The one good thing about Mellieha is, that it's close to the sandy beaches in the north, which are all really worth a visit. One other good thing is, that it's really Maltese, with only a few hotels around.
It sometimes was difficult, which pool to jump in? With the rooftop pool of the sister hotel on the other streetside there are four pools to choose from. I liked the garden pool best, followed by the roof top pool of the Maritim hotel....you get the best view over Mellieha from here! There is nothing better after a long day trip to jump in the nice pool and refresh for a while. Staff has been friendly and helpful all the time and the breakfast buffet was nice too. Many different bread types, eggs, baked beans and last but not least the tasty fruitsalad, well just to name a few things.... Leave a Comment Theme: HotelAddress: Triq G. Gozo is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway... If you have time on your holiday, I seriously recommend you rent a farmhouse in Gozo for maybe 2 nights or so... They are self-catering farmhouses... most have pools, bbq areas, jacuzzi bathrooms, four-poster beds, splendid peaceful views, fireplaces and the kitchen has all the basic appliances you may need!
Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing - best way in my opinion to see Gozo, I'd opt for a farmhouse rather than a hotel.... works out cheaper too! Besides the website I entered, there are many more companies that offer farmhouses... just look around and see which one suits you best!Website: www.gozofarmhouses.com

A 4* plus accommodation in the centre of Qawra, very close to the bus station, the seafront and Bugibba centre (about 10 minutes walk). It's in a quite quiet street but is not far from 5 or 6 nice little pubs that also do meals. The hotel itself has a pizza place, a-la-carte restaurant and (24 hour) coffee shop that also serves as the internet cafe.
The hotel is just "nice". Rooms are clean and comfortable, everything works, staff are friendly and efficient, breakfast is nice... You can pay a bit extra for a "superior room". I'd certainly do that - the room was almost twice the size of the standard room, having both a sitting and dining area, as well as a small kitchenette and space for a childs bed. Views are not superb - ours faced the car park, some just face across the street and some face a small courtyard containing the generator :-S The hotel deals mainly in package tours, but rooms are available direct from the hotel too. This is the new beautiful Radisson SAS of Malta. Located in beautiful valley far away from everywhere, so be sure you have a driver with you or either the funds for a taxi when you feel like going somewhere. Leave a Comment

Malta is a tourism country, it seems to have millions of options and you surely can find what is suitable for you, in quality, price and location. For me, a rented apartment for few days was a great option, located by the sea, great view, nice kitchen and great cooking. Leave a Comment

This is five star hotel located in Marsascala. A great location with nice view of the sea and not far from the airport. The hotel itself was OK, but not being able to get cappuccino at the hotel bar-café was a great disappointment where it lost lots of points. Leave a Comment

The Baystreet hotel is quite big with several stores inside it. The stay was wonderful except for one night when there was a party downstairs and we couldn't sleep. Of course the party was great but since we were at excursions all day we needed some time to sleep. The rooms are good, don't expect anything luxurious but it worths the price.

Top class 5* hotel on Tigne Point in Slieme. It's pool is outside in its own garden, which you reach by walking along a lush blue carpet, and alongside that is The Big Blue restaurant.
It can be booked individually or as part of a package deal. The package deals seem to work out at a better room rate than is quoted online. They say it's a 4.5 star hotel. Normally i tend to debate this but looking back I would say 4. I did have the problem with my room being on without heat. After being in stuck in a downpour in Valletta and having my shoes full of water ...dont bother with the ferry in a rain storm...there was no way to dry anything out. While talking to the nuns who were staying at the hotel on pilgramage they informed me thier rooms had heaters. All in all its nice and cozy. The dinning room is quite small. I had to miss breakfast on more than one occasion because there was no place at all to sit. Dinner is the same. The pool area across the street is quite nice with a lovely sea water pool and view of the ocean.
Its located on a quiet side street of Sliema. No noise and charming view of the narrow road its on down to the harbour. Leave a Comment Theme: HotelComparison: about averageAddress: 2, Triq Thornton ,Sliema, Malta
