Corinthia palace: Corinthia palace Attard

by Dick33

Fantastic!!! The best Hotel in Malta I have stayed in.
The rooms are large the bed was huge very clean very well maintained the hotel was being refurbished our half hadn't been done but it was great anyway.
The food was fantastic the service was first rate.
The Corinthia palace also has a large spa and gym we didn't use them because we just don't but a lot of people did.
The free buses go to Sliema and Valletta during the day we sometimes used them and we also used the local buses because the stops where only a short walk away.

service and food and large rooms with large balconies.

hotel roma: sliema hotel

by ixi1456

hotel roma is just off tower road right at the top end before the town centre.the hotel has got a steep set of stairs up to the reception but if you go into the bar underneath the hotel next to the toilets there is a lift so it saves you carrying your suitcases up a flight of stairs..when i stopped in sept 07 they were still making the bar area so i dont know whats it like..the room i had was above the reception and had a good sea view but it is next to a perminant resident who is deaf and has her tv very loud but is nice to talk to..the room had a double bed, bathroom desk fan, and free tv (some english programs)and fridge which is rare as you have to pay for a tv and fridge in most hotels and they dont have any english programs on..would stop there again as it was cheap and cheerfull

large flight of stairs to reception..hotel hard to spot up side street if you dont know what your looking for..can be noisey from the stairwell

Falcon Court apartments: Olaf's dad

by littlebush

A good way to spend your time in Malta is to rent an apartment, depends on what youre after of course.
Falcon Court are apartments situated in Bugibba, around St Pauls bay in the northwest of the island.
they have one bedroom and kitchen and living area.
The cost in November was just 140 euros for 4 nights.
I didnt meet Olaf the owner but met his dad who was very friendly and very helpful.
Its a 5min walk to the sea, and theres bars/restaurants nearby plus supermarkets for anything you may need.

Accomodation New Year

by ROCKARIA

I agree with the threads before me...Sliema or St Julians are the place to stay
to party and also to be central.
The weather should be nice around this time 14 deg during daytime & around 9 deg in the evening.
Enjoy..

Townhouse in Valletta, near Grand Harbour: Affordable and Enchanting Accommodation in Malta

by sliemawarrior

Hello, We have used www.holidaysmaltagozo.com several times and they have got us a nice place to stay in Valletta, St julians and Sliema on each occassion. Quite affordable and a large selection. If you staying in Valletta, you will love it, such an enchanting place. We stayed in an old townhouse, which was lovely and full of history.

Stunning views, great location for Republic Street and the shops and five minutes walk to the main bus terminal. One could also choose to catch a ferry across to Sliema, which only takes about five minutes and is an enjoyable trip.

Hotel Valentina: Next door hotel

by grantica

This is a cute hotel next door to Alexandra Hotel. It is much smaller and for a few EUR more expensive but its still convenient as the owner is the same as for the restaurant "The Avenue" (see my other tips) and you can get discounts for staying in this hotel. I recommend this hotel a lot and if I would return here I would consider staying there. We mat some people who were staying in Alexandra and then moved to Hotel Valentina where they got a better service.

Luna Holiday Complex: Very close to the most beautiful beach around

by grantica

We made a mistake while making our reservation and forgot to book the first night staying. We immediately looked on the Internet and booked a room at this nice hotel. It was full of elderly people staying here for a week or two. The hotel is very close to the Mellieha Bay, that is the longest and the most beautiful sandy beach on Malta.

But if you consider to stay here you should know that is hard to get around. There are very few bus lines that start and go through Mellieha, the fares are higher as this town is on the western part of the island. Anyway the bus stop is a few meters out of the hotel. You will have to rent a car which isn't the best and safest thing to do here.

But its an excellent spot for travelers looking for beach and for the one who want to go to Gozo & Cumino.

nice staff, close to the ferry station to Gozo & Cumino and close to the beautiful beach of Mellieha Bay.

Alexandra Hotel: When money is your boss - Budget Travelers

by grantica

Well we stayed here for 6 nights and I must say it was quite conveninet. It is located in the center of Paceville, St.Julians. They have breakfast but you can also get some dinner. They have old little tv with some tv stations, all rooms have balcony, air conditioning, bathrooms, every day the rooms are cleaned and the towles are changed, you can get a lot of information at the reception desk. The receptionist are from time very friendly the next minute very arrogant. The hotel has a bar and two pools, but I advise you not to check it as they are ugly as hell, old and dirty.

close to the center, for the price we paid it was more then ok.
