The more you looked at the Ballutta building the more detail there is to be seen - its a shame it looked rather neglected but I think it is the subject of investment potential - would make for great apartments or a luxury hotel.
This is the water polo club at Ballutta. You can watch them train and play from the promenade that passes in front of it and there seems to be something going on there most evenings. Just across the bay back towards Slieme there is another water polo club and right back near Sliema point there's yet another. Well, with this weather and this coastline I guess water polo is an obvious sport.
This bar is somewhat small however very popular especially in Winter even though in Summer people tend to hang outside. personally I like going to this place in Winter however it is very difficult to park in the area. This place is popular for bands ! casual
At this pub one can have a beer or a drink and enjoy live music and also Karoke.
One can watch football games on TV as very often they show them infact outside the pub they are often advertised.
This pub is one of the few pubs in Paceville that remains open all day that is not only during the night. Infact very often when I go to the pub during the Summer days it is alwasy packed with tourists that go there (since it will be very hot outside) as the place is air-condition. casual, shorts
This was trhe venure for the 2nd Maltese Vt meeting - it was lovely to meet you all there. A great place for inexpensive pizzas - thin crust and moist toppings (most under 3 lira) and also pasta dishes of which there was many to choose from - the pasta with strips of duck in an orange zest sauce was by far a popular choice.
Great choice for a meeting - very informal and good service. Cakes for desert were delicious too - choc delice was my choice :-)
