Ballutta Bay
by sandysmith
Ballutta Bay was the first bay we arrived at in St Julians after our promenade walk from Sliema. Its found just after the peace gardens which were very quiet in teh winter time - look quite desserted looking down onto it. There was a large open air swimming pool and every time we passed there were swimmers in - day or night, even when it was quite cold, reckoned it must have been a swimming club.
There is a lovely art deco building here - Ballutta building that took up most of one side of the square by the bay.
Water Polo Galore !
by Elly01
This pool is called Neptunes pool and is situated in Balluta which is between Sliema and St.Julians. The pool is used for water polo players to train and for swimming lessons however if you are a member you can also swim in the pool. Onlookers can watch the pool activities from the road. The complex is surrounded by the sea which forms Balluta Bay. However the sea in Balluta Bay is not so good to swim in. n/a

Axis Disco
by Elly01 about Axis Disco
Axis disco is a must when visiting Paceville the first time however you have to pay unless someone gives you some free tricket or pass to go in ! Axis is divided into small sections where various types of music is played. At times many private parties are held and Axis is not always open to the public. Casual
excellent

Greek resto right on the harbour at Spinola Bay.
Really excellent – food, service, menu, atmosphere. It was a busy Sunday lunchtime with all table taken, so top marks for getting it right.
I had aubergine salad and lamb souvlaki – latter served with a small Greek salad & fried potatoes.
About €26 per head, with a couple of glasses of wine included. The souvlaki - tender and flavorsome.
