Best spot in town

We stayed at The Imperial Hotel in Sliema for two weeks in April 2007. We were more than delighted with this hotel. The rooms were good and clean, the food very good for a three star hotel, and the staff were the best we have found anywhere. The position of the hotel is ideal, being easily within a short walk of the sea front on one side, and the Creek and ferries etc on the other, also handy to the shops, restaurants etc. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel. If we ever return to Malta, we would certainly without doubt return to the Imperial and would hope that the same staff would be there!

Unique Quality: This is probably the oldest hotel on the island and many of the old features have been retained; marvellous chandeliers, super staircases etc. There is an clean pool, though not big, but the main asset of this hotel is it's excellent staff.
