Budget Stay with good location

The hotel had a decent location, within minutes walk of the Sliema-Valletta ferry, or immediately on a bus stop with access to the entire coast. The staff was polite enough, but did not particularly go out of their way.

It is a good location for those traveling on a budget and merely looking for a comfortable places to stay. Despite the booking, as it turns out, the hotel does not actually have double beds.

Unique Quality: While the linens in the room were quite clean, the floor was in need of a good cleaning, it left our feet/socks black.

WiFi and the two public access computers they had in their lobby require payment.

Breakfast is included.

Not a good choice

by MaxRizza about Sliema Chalet Hotel

Not very satisfied!
The bathroom was for dwarfs and the breakfast consisted in a piece of buttered bread and a juice (not orange because it was finished).
The price was very cheap but proportional to the offer..

Mid-price hotel in the centre

by Jarra about Sliema Chalet Hotel

I stayed in Malta at the Sliema Chalet Hotel. Hotel is near Sliema centre. Within walking distance there are lots of bars, pubs, restaurants and so on. Also busroutes pass nearby and ferries to Valletta are near. Hotel itself was built in 1994. Altough it is quite new and modern, it has already some marks of agening. Rooftop sun terrace is terrific!

by mrpastry about sliema chalet hotel

I had a fabulous two week stay over christmas and new year 2005. food was good and the staff looked after me and kept my room clean. a good view of tower road was close to all that sliema had to offer.
