We booked on a late deal package with flights included - I except room rate would be a lot more than what we paid if booked independently.
Good sized rooms and modern furnishings. We didn't have a sea-view balcony - being winter time and being out all day sightseeing we wouldn''t have had chance to use it anyway. Instead our room looked onto a pleasant inner couryyard and didn't suffer from any road noise.
Breakfast was buffet style and OK but not a great variation from day to day. We hadn't booked half board but the hotel's Regatta restaurant with its sea views gave discounts to hotel guests so we tried it the first night we arrived as we were too tired to go into St Julians.
Dinner was very good with plenty of choices from the buffet:
Salad selections - lovely varities each night
Soup - always piping hot and tasty
Main courses - international cusine and maltese specialities with veggie options too
Selection of desserts and ice-cream
Cheese and biscuits
so indeed you could have a great feast for less than 6 lira which was excellent value - we ate in 3 times :-))
