Budget B&B in the Old Town Centre

Unique Quality: Right in the heart of the old town of Valletta on a lovely quiet street - one of the prettiest in Valletta I thought and so handily placed too being just a few minutes walk from the bus station and all the attractions of Valletta. Didn't stay here myself but as I passed it on St Ursula Street it caught my eye and I peered in through tthe door. A lovely lady came out and asked if I needed info and gave me the hotel card.
She explained that it was an old Maltese house, rooms were just 6 lira per night alll season . They didn't have private facilities - wash basins were in the room with shared bathrooms on each floor. Not a big place so this shouldn't be a major problem for those seeking a homely B&B in a great location and a great price.

  • Opinion of Price: least expensive

A: "I think a full day in Valletta would do to explore the town quite well. You could add a second visit to Malta to go to Mdina."
