Park Lane Aparthotel
Maskli Street, Qawra, Island of Malta, SPB 1480, Malta
Large comfortable rooms at decent rate
Park Lane Aparthotel is a nice place to stay in the north side of the island. The neighborhood is rather small and easy to walk to the waterfront, the bus station, there are grocery stores nearby, as well as many restaurants.
The staff was extremely helpful to us and responded immediately to our questions. Relatively speaking, this was the best deal on the island.
The rooms were clean and well furnished. Some rooms may have double beds, but ours only had twin.
Unique Quality: WiFi is available in the lobby for free, or possibly on the first floor if signal is strong enough.
Breakfast is available for a small (3Eur) fee.
The hotel offers standard rooms and apartment-suites with small kitchen and tables.
Directions: About 100m from the main Qawra/Bugibba bus station.

More about Park Lane Aparthotel
Both Me and my wife stayed at the Park Lane for 10 days in September ( 4th - 14) our stay there could not have been better, The rooms were clean and well presented and with all the facilities that you would require, there was a daily maid service, the pool area was clean and with plenty of Sunbeds, the pool itself although small in size was enough for a quick dip to cool down, although the rooms are equiped for Self Catering we found plenty of places in the area to eat at a reasonable cost and good food especially the Smalts Bar/Restaurant which is attached to the Hotel, I think what made the Holiday for us though was the friendliness of Andrea and the Staff of the Hotel, I am sure this is a place that we will return too in the not to distant future.
Basic, but good value and great people.
Park Lane is right in the middle of Qawra and as such doesn't have the best views unless you like looking at other apartments or the streetlife below.
That said, the place is very very clean and the rooms functional more than five star luxurious that we were expecting. I'd say the hotel was three star really, with some of the aspects of the room, in particular the furnishings, looking tired and worn. The staff there are second to none though and couldn't do enough for you and remember you by name each time.
The pool is more like a large football team's bath than a pool and is on the room where you can't play with any inflatables. We only used it once to practice snorkelling and the rest of the time we went into the sea.
Food was good for breakfasts and adequate for dinner. We never lunched there. The Great Wall restaurant across the road is one of the best chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at even if service is a little slow. Food is incredibly good there.
The hotel also shows Premiership/UEFA games on a big screen inside and on smaller screens outside in the veranda.
If I was to suggest anything for the hotel, it'd be to update the furnishings, install wireless, and report the people hassling you for timeshares on the street corners by the bus station who just make themselves a nuisance to the general public and don't know the meaning of the word NO to the police to stop them!
Check out the Casino in the Dolmen hotel (you can see it from the Park Lane.
Avoid the square along the seafront where there's a grotty english pub with god-awful service - whole area is really run down and there are flies and moronic timeshare salespeople EVERYWHERE!
Recommend using buses to get around - terminal is near to the hotel and they are very cheap and regular.
Recommend checking out the car museum too.
Snorkelling is excellent.
Gelataria near the small fun fair on the front serves the BEST Freshly Squeezed OJ on the planet!
Park Lane Aparthotel....First Class!!!
Just returned from the Park Lane Aparthotel had a marvellous time. Thanks to the Management and staff.
Could not fault the service or the facilities.
The penthouse is something special!!!
Enjoyed it so much we have booked a return visit in April, look forward to seeing Andrea and all the staff again.
got to be the best
What a pleasant little hotel, all facilities excellant. all rooms bright, modern and kept clean and tidy by very effecient cleaner.
Transfers to and from hotel arranged by staff. shame pool wasnt larger and breakfast experience not up to rest of hotel, but only petty criticisms. Would recommend this hotel to anyone that doesnt need a sea view.

Best place in Malta!
Just like all the other reviews this place is outstanding!
We would never stay anywhere else on the island,1st class service, spotless rooms and excellent staff. Great airport transfer service. We had breakfast included with our stay and also dined in the restaurant for the lunch buffet and some evening meals.
Great welcome even when arrived late at night, I can't say anymore than you should try this place for yourselves!(PS The Oasis concert was great).
Fantastic - highly recommended - will stay again!!!!
My wife and I arrived Park Lane Aparthotel on 24th evening. We were picked up from airport by a friendly and chatty taxi driver arranged by the hotel. We got a warm welcome to the hotel. its very clean and well decorated. The reception is staffed 24hrs with very helpful & friendly staff. Its got a great restaurent attached onthe ground floor. What we liked most is the location - very close (1 min walk) to bugibba/Qawra bus station where you can get bus connection to any part of Malta. lots of restaurents for every taste within easy reach.......... we stayed for a week & overall we had a great time staying at park lane hotel. A memorable Honeymoon
We stayed at Park Lane Hotel for our honeymoon from 27th November till 1st December and we had absolutely fantastic time there. Daniela was great from the first moment I contacted to book our room. She was very helpful, fast in reply. She advised us to book the Penthouse which we understood was a good choice. From the moment we arrived to airport till we left we felt at home. The driver who met us at the airport and drove back at the end of our stay was very kind, on time and friendly. The staff at the hotel they were very friendly and helpful. When we went to our apartment we found a beautiful bunch of flowers and chocolates which was prepared by the hotel to congratulate us for our wedding. It was very kind of them. The hotel had perfect location, next to Bugibba Bus Terminus where you could take buses to all over the island. Apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen utensils were all in good conditions. The view from terrrace was fantastic. We are planning to go back to Malta and stay at Park Lane again.
Great Christmas in Malta
We stayed at Park Lane during Christmas time, actually had a great time!We are 2 families and we booked 2 apartments, which were spacious and really well equipped. The furniture is a little bit old and requires little more maintenance but in the end we had no problems at all, because we had all the necesssary to feel comfortable. I know they're carrying on refurbishment works in some rooms, so I think it will be even better than now.Andrea and Daniela were simply great: friendly, helpful and professional at the same time. The location is wonderful: less than 50 mt from Bugibba bus terminal, from where you can go anywhere in the island.Excellent trade-off between price and quality. Malta is a great experience, even at Christmas: if we come back again, we'll certainly choose Park Lane Aparthotel once more.
Great room & staff
The room was a great size and well equipped although twin beds pushed together are never ideal. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Breakfast was good. Dinner was also good although of the three nights we ate there, apple pie was the only dessert option, which was really annoying!
We had a hire car and there was good parking close to the hotel.
I would definitely go back although I think it would be on a self-catering basis as there are lots of cheap restaurants and supermarkets in the area.
