Hotel Art Rustic: A little hard to find but worth it

Hotel Art Rustic is a new well furnsihed small size hotel located a short walk from the city centre. All rooms have air conditioning, satelite TV and are kept pretty clean. The price is reasonable with breakfast included.

Adresa: Nice apartments

I'd recommend the Adresa Agency to anyone looking for a nice apartment in Chişinâu. I paid 45 euros per night for a large, luxury apartment in a good, central location. As well as being fully furnished, with cable TV, the kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, sugar etc. A driver from the agency took me there. Adresa has cheaper apartments too, ranging from 20 euros per night. You can rent an apartment for just one night if you want to.

Adresa's office is in Bulevardul Negruzi near the train station. It is open 24/7. The address of the apartment I stayed in was: Str. Albisoara 16, Apt. 53. It was located near the Adresa office, between the train and bus stations.

Hotel Chisinau: budget option - former soviet intourist

There are several hotels downtown Chisinau, most of them seeming up-market (e.g. Cosmos, Flowers, etc.).
Price – 20 us/pax/night.

Unique Quality: Hotel Chisinau is a budget one, very centrally located. In fact, the former soviet intourist, from reception to the bed sheets and to the employees, so don’t expect a warm welcome. Don’t expect breakfast. Don’t expect free luggage room for the day. Don’t expect the receptionist to enough change to give you, unless you’re paying in US at a rip-off rate.
On the other hand, expect some basic small rooms with short beds (I guess soviets were rather short) with fridge and TV, a barely functioning bathroom but with hot water! And expect old-fashioned flavours – 2 fat policemen sitting at a desk near the reception, and an old woman on every floor to make sure you find your room every time.

Hotel Turist: Soviet hospitality

A bit of a Soviet throw-back, but a cheaper option that other hotels. If you like your walls on the thin side and your curtains held up with paper clips (I kid you not), then this is the place for you. But the rooms have private bathrooms, the water is hot and some even come with TV.
