Can anyone suggest some cheap accommodation in Chisinau ? I am looking for something under 25 Euros a night (35 US dollars) for a single. Thanks !
Not easy at all....
I was used to stay in some kind of B&B named
"perla" in Bulgara Str, really closer to downtown. Price was around 30/40 Euro, nice location clean and safe.

You are pushing it to find something that cheap.
30 Euros will give you some options, Hotel Cosmos for instance, in Negruzzi. I had a double their with breakfast for 39 euros, I think the single was around 30.
Marisha will let their apartment (self-catering) for around 30 also.
There is very little on the web any cheaper than that.

hotel cosmos has had a promotion for a while plastered on their building. i forget the exact amount: something like 22 euros per night. i don't know the details. anyone interested might inquire about it. even at such a "low" price, i can't say that hotel cosmos is such a good value!
Not many countries has its diplomatic and consular missions in Moldova. I would say that there are few of them, includind such countries as: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Poland. Romania, Russia, USA, Turkey, Ukraine and Hungary. There are also some representations of some international organisations such as EU, UN or UNICEF. Some countries has its missions outside but they are accredited to Moldova.
Citizens of the U.S. and E.U. nations no longer need a visa to enter Moldova. It is a simple matter of presenting your passport at the airport, or to the customs officials if you enter by train or car.
Moldova remains a 'passport' country, and you are required to have your passport in your possession at all times.
This is an Armenian Apostole Church of St. Mary the Mother of God in Puskin street. It was built in 1803. I like Armenian churches. They have the very atmosphere of mysticism. However, this one has something in but you cannot compare the Church for example with the Armenian Cathedral in Lviv. Anyway, be careful as the dog look after the properity near the Church.

I don't know whether it would be possible to buy one outside of
Moldova. But in Chisinau you can find it bookstores.
This is a really nice cafe. Its interior is well designed what makes the atmosphere of the place. The staff (young women) is well dressed too and speaks English. Except coffee they offer a wide variety of cakes. You may have a look at them and choose what seems to be the most tasty.:) Unfortunatelly, I was told that the cafe is open only till 5 pm. I hope only that day... Prices about average.
