So...
One of the accomodations can be in village house as a guest! If you have friends there it's great, you'll stay with them... if you don't you'll make some!
And it's easy cause locals would be happy to meet with you and share a meal.
Although locals generally don't speak any foreign languages except Russian, that will be a great experience for you in communication skills and if you speak a little bit of Romanian - your Romanian language skills.
Generally local people would be happy to see any foreigner as a guest, and will offer you the best bed, meal and wine they have (traditionaly) and will not ask you money for that. Still due to the bad situation not many of them will be able to offer you rich meal (like about 10 years ago, but be sure it's best they have)... but if you would like you can pay them for hospitality.
Don't expect any shower or bath (if it's summer some have a summer shower in the garden), WC is in the garden too. You'll be able to take a shower at the waterfalls or at the monastery keys or in The Nistru River!
Have fun!
