Camp on the hill: more then 2000 years old accomodation...
Best accomodation! (if you ask me)...
What can be more beutiful then making a cort on the top of a hill?! In a place full o history with magnificant views around you.
Right in front of you is The Saharna Monastery (looks great in the evening, or in the night - just the siluete), The Nistru River, The Separatist Bandit Mafiozick Region of Transnistria.
The place where you staying on the top of the hill once an ancient (more then 2000 years) fortress of Geto-Dacs (our ancestors).
Unique Quality: Spending the night there is great! Making a fireplace, cooking some meal, singing songs with friends, drinking fine wine... what can be greater?
PS: beware wild animals :) and in the summer all kind of insects!

Manastirea Saharna: In a divine place!
You can always find a shelter in the monastery, like in old days (not during the comunism period :) when travellers often stoped at monasteries.
So you will be welcomed here everytime in the house of God. And as you already know the Monastery of Saharna is a place with history and miracles... be preapared :)
Unique Quality: On the picture with the tradional Moldavian cross on the right you can see a long house. That's the guest house (at least used to be), don't know how is it now. So if you'll decide to stop here, that's the house you'll be staing in.

A house in the village: What about locals?
Because there are no hotels in Saharna or some other kind of accomodation you can pay for; you accomodation problem can be solved really easy, and you don't have to think much about it.
So...
One of the accomodations can be in village house as a guest! If you have friends there it's great, you'll stay with them... if you don't you'll make some!
And it's easy cause locals would be happy to meet with you and share a meal.
Unique Quality: Although locals generally don't speak any foreign languages except Russian, that will be a great experience for you in communication skills and if you speak a little bit of Romanian - your Romanian language skills.
Generally local people would be happy to see any foreigner as a guest, and will offer you the best bed, meal and wine they have (traditionaly) and will not ask you money for that. Still due to the bad situation not many of them will be able to offer you rich meal (like about 10 years ago, but be sure it's best they have)... but if you would like you can pay them for hospitality.
Don't expect any shower or bath (if it's summer some have a summer shower in the garden), WC is in the garden too. You'll be able to take a shower at the waterfalls or at the monastery keys or in The Nistru River!
