 | Monaco Reviews | Tips 1 - 10 of 54 | | Probably the best Marriott I've ever stayed in (and as a Platinum member of Mariott, I've stayed in a few). The reception was quick, easy and very helpful. As we arrived earlier than anticipated, the receptionist was all appologies that the room was not ready but had our luggage stowed before we could even figure out what we would be doing for the rest of the day.
Beds with down comforters and down topping to the mattress. Incredible comfort that leaves you very well rested even if you can't get the number of hours you really want. Not all the views are of the harbor but, as ours was, and the view was incredible. Everyone was friendly and ready to please, exactly what Bill Marriott wishes to achieve with his hotel chain. If you're travelling to Monaco on a budget, I highly recommend staying in nearby Beausoleil. This hotel, Holiday Residence Palais Joséphine, was a great value and such a short walking distance from the Monte Carlo Casino. There were very spacious apartment style rooms, with cool tile floors. Friendly helpful staff. Leave a Comment

While I didn't stay in Monaco I was curious as to what hotel rooms cost. I found the Tulip Inn Monaco Terminus on line and although on the high side, still not as expensive as I thought if would be. DOUBLE 135 E - 170 E DOUBLE SEA VIEW 145 E - 180 E with breakfast.
In the heart of the principality of Monaco, the Tulip Inn Terminus is situated two steps away from the Prince Palace and the harbour, in the heart of the cultural, tourist, administrative and sporting center. A railway station is close by. The departure point for city buses is located in front of the hotel and there is also a direct shuttle to the airport Leave a Comment Theme: HotelPrice: US$40-80 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than averageAddress: 9, avenue Prince Pierre, MonacoPhone: Tel: +377 92 05 63 00Directions: Two steps from the Prince PalaceWebsite: tulipinn-terminus@monte-carlo.mc

I love the hotels that carry the "The Leading Small Hotel of the World" label. Although these are often pricey, Monte Carlo is a good place to allow yourself to be pampered. Not only is it an equisite hotel architecturally, but it has been granted the status of a historical monement!
Built at the turn of the century, the Hôtel Hermitage Monaco a gorgeous example of "Belle Epoque." The hotel feel intimate and quiet -- like stepping into the past. When you are there, check out the: - Restaurant with a terrace that offers a panoramic view, le Vistamar - Winter garden with Gustave Eiffel dome - Lobby-bar : the "Limùn Bar" ... and the - Piano-bar Behind this hotel's facade, decorated with frescoes and perched above the port, it harbors a few masterpieces, such as the Salle Belle Epoque with its pink marble columns and its crystal chandeliers, and a winter garden topped with a spectacular glass and steel dome signed by Gustave Eiffel. The hotel has direct access to the Thermes Marins de Monte-Carlo. Palais Josephine is positioned in the lively Carre Belle Epoque Quarter in Beausoleil. The residence lies 200 metres from the magnificent gardens of Monte Carlo and is in the vicinity of the Monaco Conference Centre. This residence hotel is actually a time share facility, which sublets its rooms at quite reasonable rates when not being used by timeshare owners. It is built in typical Monaco style and has spacious and pleasant apartments and a rooftop pool with a beautiful view. It's usually pointless to recommend a hotel at which one has no personal staying experience, but this HOTEL DE PARIS is a clear exception to that rule. One of the chicest and ritziest hotels on the planet, it's always featured in any film which has a Monaco setting. See it and dream and then leave. Leave a Comment

I know this accommodation is not in Monaco itself, but it is only 17 km west of Monaco near Nice, with great transport links. This is where we stayed for visiting Monaco. This is a pleasant camp site, clean & effecient hot showers, with a swimming pool. The most attractive quality about this site though is how friendly the French owners were, could not do enough to help & provide local information. Would definately stay there again if we were in the area.

It was not my accomodation - but a stay of some exclusive visitors in an exclusive part of Europe. Monaco is a place to be visited. For many people a one day trip. Tourists visiting the south of France take this opportunity, for others, relativaly a few, it is their second home. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherAddress: Port HerculeDirections: Monaco - Monte Carlo
