Garibaldi Forum?

by hayleyoz

Hi there,

I've been asked to book a hotel near the Garibaldi Forum. Does anyone know if such a place exists, and if yes, where? I've been to Monaco twice and don't recall this name. I can't find any reference to it in Google.

Many thanks in advance!

Hayley :)

Ah, please don't bother! My client has since said she's after the 'Grimaldi Forum!' Makes more sense :)

Its Grimaldi Forum. It is located by the water in Monte Carlo on the Avenue Princess Grace. The closest hotel I think is the Meridian, there is also the Monte Carlo Bay which is a bit further on.
I hope this helps

Travel Tips for Monaco

Up and down Monaco - Use elevators!

by Danaibk

Monaco is a multi- stage city, and besides usual 'clasic' transportation it has lots of lifts! They are for public use and very helpful especially after a long walking day, or when you simply wanna catch the train! So take a good look arround...locate and use the elevators!

A tiny little country that grows again

by Pavlik_NL

Monaco has been decimated in the past centuries. France took the majority of the land, now-a-days covering the places Roquebrune and Menton. However, Monaco is again expanding. The economy is booming so much, that more land is just a must and therefor Monaco exoands into the sea. Already 22% of the present principality is made out of "new won land" from the sea. Especially here, with the quickly deep sea, quite an expensive and technical highlight.

Everything is rich in Monaco

by Sakura_Kobe

The more things I was fascinated are the displays at the entrance of the famous brands. The jewelries or evening dresses, which are usually put in the space at the rear of a shop in Japan, are in the display windows. I instantly understood those shops are for only very rich people. Monaco is very small country but it is beautiful and very very rich. The Monaco train station is very modern and clean compared to the one of Nice. But I felt somewhat comfortable when I returned Nice.

Feels under the ocean

Fantastic collection of sea creatures, probably one of the best aquarium centre you'll ever visit. Imagine 2 story high and more than 10 metres big of the tank to fit in all sea creatures from all over the world and the reefs of course.

Medieval Street

by daryll

I spare some time around Place du Palais, slow stroll and enjoy the real medieval street, with some few shops and flats around, I can just imagine how those days Grimaldi started develop the blessed area.
