Malizia !!
by Durfun
As you head towards the Palace, you'll come across this information board that tells you how the present ruling family came to own Monaco!
The story of Francesco Grimaldi, 'la Malizia'.
On the evening of January 8, 1297, Francesco Grimaldi resorted to trickery to capture the Genoan fortress built on the @Rock' of Monaco: disguised as a monk, he managed to overpower the guards after having the gate opened for him.
He was the first of the Grimaldis to reign over Monaco.
This exploit earned him the nickname 'Malizia' (the wily or cunning). The fab views from several high vantage points.
Jardin Exotique has some lovely, tranquil ponds & plants.
The cool setting of the Oceanographic museum, appropriately rising from the sea!
Lovely sculptures in the many gardens in the city.
Blue sky and beautiful architecture

Strolling around in Monaco-Ville and enjoy the beautiful architecture, the gardens.
The feeling to belong for a few hours to the jet set of Europe
Having a typical "Ricard" as apéritif in a small bistro called "Castle Rock", this all in the shadow / or glamour of the top touristic path to the "Royal Palace" Noticing that you enter an exclusive world, not only of society and richness, but being only some steps from other exclusive parts in Europe aswell, like Cannes, Nice, St-Tropez, the french Province in general, the italian Riviera and skialps
Behold the most beautiful harbor in the world!

...at least that I have been to anyway. Monaco is for people who enjoy the rich luxuries in life. Fancy sports cars, 5 star hotels, restaurants, , you name it and they have it...unfortunately a hefty price tag comes with it everything. Fortunately they have a casino whereby you can finance your trip :) Sipping a glass of wine while staring at my future yacht! After I win the Big Game that is. :)
