The finest accommodations in Monte Carlo

The Hôtel de Paris is the finest hotel in Monte Carlo. Despite other reviews I have read, I did not find the staff to be rude or pretentious. Quite the contrary actually. I was upgraded to a magnificent suite and found the staff to be most accommodating of my lack of proficiency with regard to their language. They most certainly appreciated the effort though. The lobby is stunning and the lobby bar (Le Bar Américain) offers great views of the sea during the day, and the Casino at night. Accommodations are slightly on the expensive side, but in line with similar accommodations in Europe such as Plaza Athénée in Paris, or even the Ritz or the Plaza in NYC. As Ferris Beuller says " It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend." The location is perfect. It is situated perpendicular to the famed casino, and it is directly across from the Cafe De Paris. A short stroll to the gardens as well as fine shopping.

Be sure to acknowledge the doormen and the other staff with the appropriate formal salutation.

The one and only Hotel De Paris

Out Of this World

Where the glitz meets the glamour.

Don't come here on a budget.

Incredible rooms and bathrooms built for royalty. Hermes bath products say it all.

Salt water indoor pool and fitness center are to die for.

Hotel de Paris

Hotel the Paris is the most famous hotel of Monte Carlo because it's on the Place du Casino and well...right next to the casino. It's a super luxury hotel where you'll cross stars and top models in the sensational lobby or in the hotel restaurant, le Louis XV, one of the 3 Alain Ducasse's restaurants (THE reference of french haute-cuisine).
now...as I had forgotten my black amex card at home I couldn't try either the bed or the Louis XV...maybe next time

Hotel de Paris is a five star luxury hotel located at Place de Casino adjacent to Monte Carlo Casino in the heart of the city of Monte Carlo. It is one of the finest hotels in the city as well as one of the legendary hotels in Europe! The hotel has been operating since the late 19th century. It has approximately 180 well equipped rooms and 70 suites spread over eight floors with several bars and restaurants. This great hotel is so beautifully illuminated at night.

Among its sophisticated facilities and amenities are non smoking rooms, fully air-conditioned, swimming pools, health and fitness centres, sauna, gym, business centre, meeting and conference rooms, secretarial services, laundry services, fax services, high speed internet access, mini bar, hair dryer, safe depost boxes, cable television, pets allowed, parking amenities, multi-lingual staff, kids activities, gambling facilities, hair saloon, foreign currency exchange and 24 hour reception.

In Monte-Carlo, you can smell money and luxury everywhere, from the Cosmopolitan Billionaires' yachts in the main harbour, to the esplanade of the main Casino, surrounded by the majestic Cafe de Paris and Hotel de Paris. Monte-Carlo is really small, so you might think there isn't all that much to it. But if you know where to go, you will have a fantastic holliday. Also, you should see some more of the Riviera, such as Nice, Cannes, Juan-les-Pins or Eze-Village. Being in Monaco, you feel apart from the World. There is no street criminality, no taxes, and it is probably the most elegant city in the World. All is high-class, limousines and sports cars, extravagant jewelry, five star hotels and gourmet dining. You might go to see how the jet-set live or, if you have a comfortable bank account in Switzerland, enjoy the luxury yourself.
