Motel Mijdrecht by hopang Motel Mijdrecht is located approximately 6 kilometers west of A2 motorway, approximately 20 kilometers south of the city of Amsterdam. It is a very cosy motel with free parking facilities away from the bustling city of Amsterdam. The family room can accommodate up to four adults with bathroom/WC attached. There is a small reception in the motel complete with café cum restaurant for you to chill out. Nevertheless the amenities are quite basic! The motel is ideal for budget travellers and overnight motorists travelling across mainland Europe. Hampshire Inn Bieze Borger by vtveen Or as the locals say: Hotel Bieze. The hotel is located in the middle of the village of Borger in Drenthe. Around this village are a lot of cycling and walking routes. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the 'hunebedden' - the Dutch Dolmens. Hotel Bieze is just renovated and offers 22 hotel rooms, modern, comfortable and with all facilities you may expect from a *** star hotel. It offers a gourmet restaurant, but it is also possible to have lunch or dinner in 'the Grand Café' or on one of the terraces. Ask for the special packages. It is possible to rent a bike through the hotel and to get routes.
As (almost) everybody comes to Drenthe and Borger to walk or cycle it is a great idea to offer the guests a local weatherforecast while they have dinner. So it is possble to plan your next trip.

by Nathalie_B I never stayed in hostel in my life until I was forced to spend 5 nights in one of them. To my surprise it was nothing that thought it would be. It was clean, nice, big enough, and yes! they do have showers in rooms. Stayokay is a chain, you can find its hostels in many cities in Holland. For more information click HERE

Boshotel Vlodrop by vtveen We stayed in this hotel for a weekend to explore the National Park "De Meinweg". The hotel is situated more or less in the middle of the park and is an ideal starting point for a bike tour or for walks in the park (see 'things to do tip') We did rent our bikes from the hotel. Ask for one of the many arrangements they offer. The mentioned price in this tip depends on the arrangement you get (we had a so called 'bikers welcome arrangement')
'The hotel has every aminity for a pleasant stay. - nice ensuite rooms with TV, phone and minibar, - restaurant and a cosy lounge for a drink - health & wellness centre with swimming pool and sauna - fitness room Theme: HotelPrice: US$40-80 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Boslaan 1, VlodropPhone: 0475 - 534959Directions: Province of Limburg, 10 km east of RoermondWebsite: www.boshotel.nl Other Contact: info@boshotel.nl

Nice budget hotel along a quiet canal, near "everything". Walking distance to the museums, Leidseplein, Flower Market, and a short tram ride to the train station. The costs in April 2002 were 60 Euros and 80 Euros for a single/double room respectively, with toilet & shower down the hall (sink in the room). Some rooms with private bath were more expensive. Our room was simple but clean and spacious enough. Breakfast is included and served in a nice dining room to the sound of classical music. Friendly service. We made a reservation in a hotel in Aduard, but due to an overbooking we were transferred to ‘De Gastheerd’ (or Guesthouse), also in Aduard. Afterwards we were very happy with it, because the hotel didn’t have too much charm. Completely different from the B&B, which is situated in an old (19th century) gentleman’s farmhouse. It has 4 bedrooms, which share the spacious and modern bathroom (double wash basins, shower and bath), a breakfast room, which also can be used for reading a book or preparing the next day trip. It also offers a garden and a kind of orchard and it is possible to rent a bike to explore the surroundings of Aduard/Groningen. Three spacious rooms are € 68, per night; we had a smaller one and had to pay € 58,- There is also an self contained apartment in the ‘barn’ behind the main house. The B&B is for sale on the moment (June 2007), so if you want to stay here, you will have to hurry.
Very good breakfast and very nice hosts (JoAnn and Hans van Seventer). Excellent location to visit the city Groningen (we did it by bike, but you can also take your car or the bus) and the countryside around Aduard. GILDEHOTEL by ATLC An old convent converted to hotel. I stayed here several times for work. Good rooms, most of them with balcony overlooking the inner courtyard where you can sit on a summer's day. There's also a pub and restaurant.
Prices range from 68-92 € excluding breakfast (€ 8). The hotel is in the historical city center which has a lively nightlife and shopping area. I always enjoyed staying here. Deventer is interesting to visit. It hosts the largest bookmarket in Europe and is also nice to visit during Christmas time.
