"Scooter through"
I was here a few years ago through school and spent about three weeks outside of the town.
It was over the summer so there was quite a bit going on as in beach volleyball tourneys and town festivals.
Its a relatively small town with a pretty square and decent sized promenade with all the shops you may need for immediate amenities, there is a supermarket in walking distance that is not too far from the center too.
The night scene was not one of the most active ones, which should be expected I guess for such as mall suburbian town but Scooters does provide a substantial supply of hel-a-good time.
The most entertaining aspect of this town is that it provides plenty of good bike-stroll paths. Holland is so bike friendly that its pretty easy to bike around anywhere and have a swell time.
