Terschelling Hotels

Various camp ground

For the kinda trip we were involved in (First time cycling trip adventure!) the best accommodation seemed to be camp grounds. I had a folder with me with all kind of adresses of campings and hotels for emergency situations since the Australian mate was just 18 years old and I had promissed her host parents that I will take good care of her.
Finding the camp site was easy, it was a few kilometers to the East from West-Terschelling. There is actually many of them in a row. We just took the first we saw since it was 11 pm then and we were not looking forward to putting up a tent in dark.

Unique Quality: An ordinar camp ground with facilities of less quality than what we saw later (taking into account that that was the first camp ground we had ever seen in the Netherlands). However, the price was accordingly low and we realized later that it was a camp ground for young people, even teenagers which meant a lot of noise till late in the night.
Showers and toilets were ok, laundry room as well, however, there was no place where to sit - a cafe or any other room. Thus, if it rains and you are not able to sit outside, you have to sleep or sit in your tent.
