We are going to Terschelling from March 20 to 21st.
Can we just go there and find something or do you
advice to reserve in advance?
I was searching by internet and I couldn't find a
B&B for 4 (we are 2 adults+ 2 small children 4 and 2 years old), it only showed prices for 2, but I'll continue searching.
Also if you have more information about what to see, what to do there...

In that website I was looking for accommodation, and I only saw for 2 people, but I think I can ask by an e-mail for the four of us. But I have seen that there different areas, which one will you reccommend? We have no car, we will arrive by public transportation.

Terschelling West.
I would recommend staying in West Terschelling; that is where the ferry from the mainland will arrive. (Although the distances on the island are not that big anyway).
Best to rent a bike fore your transport and sightseeing.

I've seen that this is a good place to go around in a bike, but my children are too small, 2 and 4 years old. Can we go by bus to the places ?

There are local busses on the Island. Same ticket (Strippenkaart) as in use all over the Netherlands.

You get the best view from the island by bike. The cycle paths take you across the whole island. Throught the forest, the dunes, the villages, along the Wad. There are several small villages on the island, each has it own charms. The smell of the sea. It starts when you board the ferry and it stays with you untill you leave the ferry on your return. Thats why i like the slow ferry, you can keep the vacation spirit a bit longer.
In this little museum find you a lot history, culture and maritime background of Terschelling with permanent and changing expositions.

Since this island is surrouned by the sea you can do all sorts of watersports.
But because of the always available wind and waves, surfing in all its variations is a great thing to do i guess.
We saw kite surfing while we were there. The guys seemed to have no trouble at all in surfing the waves.
This is the Harlingen fishing-port.
When you see the harbour after your depart from Terschelling than you know that your trip to the wonderful Wadden sland Terschelling is over. :-(
Maybe till the next time but it was a nice trip to Terschelling.
