'De Keizerskroon' is situated next to the palace 'Het Loo'.
Till the sixties the hotel was owned by Queen Wilhelmina.
The distance to Amsterdam is 85 kilometer. To Schiphol airport it is 100 kilometer.
There are 2 different types of rooms. The first type is a deluxe room. This room is spacious. The price for this room is €112.00. The second type is a royal double room. In this room you will find extra space with more comfort (like a coutch or chair). The price for this room is €142.00.

My room, while it did not come with an alarm clock and was a bit on the dark side, was nice and spacious. The bed was comparable to other economy business-class hotels (Springhill Suites, Courtyard by Marriott, Sheraton). My view could have been better, but this hotel does have plenty of rooms with a nice view. The lobby was nice, inviting, and comfortable. The fitness room is a bit lacking--two ergometers, two stationary bikes, and one stair master. I do intend on staying here again if I do return. It is very close to the #10 bus stop and a 40-minute walk from a week's worth of restaurants.
Unique Quality: I really like the scent of the shampoo and body wash (second only to Westin). Wireless 802.11b Internet access provided by Swisscom Eurospot, while expensive (EUR 88/week), is available.

Unique Quality:
Firstly: I have never slept here.
Why should I when I have my own Royal Suite in Apeldoorn.
However the hotel is used by members of the Dutch Royal familly.
They are said to use the 'Tsar Peter de Grote-suite' called after the Tsars because of his visit to Apeldoorn.
Hotel 'De Keizerskroon' is a very luxurious hotel.
Every room has its own style and atmosphere.
Every guest is welcomed with fresh fruit and a warm fire in the room.
