Camping "De Waaij": The camping in the riverlands!
Along the dike between Doornenburg and Angeren is the ****-campground "De Waaij". Located just next to a "Wiel" (a lake that came to be after a dikebreach) this camping can be concidered the best within the "Over-Betuwe" and ... not even that expensive as here it is just not touristic.
For people, especially families, that want a vacation out of the ordinary, this is an ideal spot. Not to crazy or busy, but with the posibilities to see the close environment by bike and the wide environment (Nijmegen, Arnhem, Hoge Veluwe N.P.) by car (or public transport).
