Gorssel Stay Okay - International Hostelling Assoc: Stay out in the Dutch countryside near Gorssel

helpful and friendly staff and being able to speak good english was helpful when trying to get directions over the phone when trying to find the place out in the countryside.

Clean rooms - slick pine wood buildings Scandanavian style fitting with the Norwegian main building.

Expensive as far as youth hostels go around Europe but a low budget money saver if youre travelling on your own in the Netherlands!27.50 euro with 2.50 discount if you have a hoselling card - 1.70 for hot drinks, 1.90 for glass of good red wine, 5 euro for an hour of WIFI internet access (which they didnt have the vouchers for so I bought 2 x 15 minute vouchers for 1.50 euro each - expensive as well!)

The main building is an old Norwegian Hunting Lodge! Nice out away from the busy city and city style lodge - great for me too as all the city hostels were full whereas this one an hour or two away from Utrecht and any other large towns was almost empty so I had the place almost to myself!
All the accommodation rooms have ensuites which is a great convenience overnight.

Excellent to have a bar with hot drinks and alcoholic drinks available at a low price til late at night.
