RTV Nunspeet is the local radio station, also transmitting via stream radio over the Internet. Expect everything from local church services till excellent popular music programs.
The studio's are well equipped and the station has a broad local support.

"Some Nunspeet history"

Nunspeet formerly was known as Nuwenspete or New Development. This in contrast to the neighbouring village of Elspeet or Old Development.
Nunspeet has been a community of self supporting farmer families throughout the ages.
In the 19th century the public health situation improved and the growing population became a problem. A cotton factory was grounded and also new work was created by planting new forests.
In 1830 Nunspeet was connected to the Zuiderzeestraatweg, a road along the Zuiderzee (now IJsselmeer) and in 1863 the village got a railway connection.
The city became popular to tourists and campers.

The Nunspeet community includes the villages of Elspeet, Hulshorst, Nunspeet and Vierhouten.
