Camping Stadspark: City Campground

If you come to Groningen with a tent, you might consider camping on the campgrounds of the Stadspark (citypark). You will be only a few minutes away from the citycentre, which makes it an ideal budget place. On the grounds are a restaurant and a small shop for daily necessities, like bread.

This campground is opened from March 15 to October 15.

Right near the City centre of beautiful Groningen.

We stayed at a pension. For...

We stayed at a pension. For more information see www.groningen.nl. You can also ask for information at the touristoffice at the trainstation or in the heart of the town. You'd better make a reservation, because pensions, hotels and hostels are full very easily. The reason: this town is popular! Many students, germans, but also people from the north, the east and middle of the Netherlands often come and take a look here.
f37,50 guilders per person per night. Breakfast and use of shower, toilet, towels and sheets are included!

Breakfast is included and is great! Everything you want is there from bread and croisants till wafels, eggs and panckes. Coffee, tea and milk are included.

This is the living place of...

This is the living place of Diesel before he came with me to Naaldwijk. There is a lot of green and from Naaldwijk to this place is 254 KM and about 3 hours driving.
Its a clean place and new houses. We saw no shops or snackbars anywhere we drove, so maybe its so new they still have to build thoose.

We saw a lot of children playgrounds, a lot of green and the houses are rather big.

Camping Stadspark: In the city

This is a campground in a park in the city, so you're in the middle of everything. There are a lot of small fields where you can put up your tent. The fields are for differnet groeps, like backpackers, youth and 1-night stay. There's also room for campers/caravans and you can hire bungalowtents or a hut.

There's laundry, restaurant and a small camp store.
