I was attending a conference at the MECC which is only a 100m from the hotel. In this respect the nh Hotel, Forum 110 is very convenient but I wouldn't have wanted to stay there if I was visiting Maastricht for a short break or holiday. It was perfectly well equipped, comfortable with all of the conveniences you would expect of a modern hotel but it lacked character and because of its location lacked any sense of engagement with the town. The breakfast was Dutch or at least western European. I cannot comment on the rest as I didn't eat there. Some of the photos will give you an impression of the place and location.
If you wanted to access the internet to carry out your business the hotel charges a connection fee. Next door, in the MECC, there is free wifi connectivity. Best to read your emails in the centre.
